This time next week is my birthday and I’ll be 27….

for internet users that pretty damn old.

I remember when there was no internet. It was a sad sad world. Though I played a lot of Wolfenstein 3d, Police Quest and Commander keen…so it wasnt all bad.

Our first computer was this

Good old Aptiva. I remember my older cousin showing us how AWESOME paint was on windows 3.1….ha ha ha

I remember the change from Floppy disks..the big huge ones

8 inch floppy… 100kb   like that could survive in these days!

then 1.4mb…..gettin better could almost fir a jpeg on here

then things got a bit better…before we could record onto a cd we hade these

100mb!!  Wow technology…

then I saw Cd-r’s come in then cd-rw   then those Massive disks that didnt really kick off

Today I FAILED at giving blood!!

Blood Fail

Yup I failed at the blood bank! I was super SUPER excited about giving blood again… However it was packed so we waited for ages (my BF and I)

I went into the nurse’s room and they pricked my finger for a blood test…FIRST FAIL…not enought iron.. my level was 101..where the minimum allowed to donate is 120.

However we decided to draw some more blood with the big needle and test it properly.   I passed 127!! wahoo..still bad but ok.

in the meantime my BF is sitting in the Big room with his baggy filling nicely with sweet red blood!!

So the loverly nurse pricked my other arm as this arm has always being good for drainin’. ….waited…waited,,,…waited…SECOND FAIL!! no blood. so I had a prick in my firnger and both my arms and no blood.

So they sent me home 

My BF fainted tho..that was interesting…poor thing I’ll give him hugs.

Out for Monday

Took today off work dur to a MASSIVE cyst-pus-ball on my tooth that hurts like HELL!!! I wanted to take a photo but i dont think you’d want to see the inside of my gross infected mouth.

So didnt sleep Saturday night, Didnt sleep Sunday night…I hate the Dentist, the pain and the cost$$ scares me, so I went to the Doctors instead (easier to get an appointment and its FREE) Good old doctor (and i mean OLD) gave me really strong Antibiotics, that I have to take for 4 days but he said it was really swollen so gave  me a repeat just in case. I’m a little hesititant about antibiotics as i worry if I take to many I will build up a resistance and never be cured of anything again.. so hopefully I wont have to go the repeat!

Ahh it hurts..was not able to scam stronger pain killers tho, but did get my blood pressure done..121/78  oh year Healthy Healthy..except for the tooth and drugs  ha ha ha

Oh well back to work tomorrow..need more sleep!!
